Welcome to the Web version of our Summer Reading List.  This year the elementary librarians of the Mamaroneck schools created a combined list of great books to read this summer.  Just click on the link to see this list.

     The lists are divided by grade levels but readers should feel free to look at lists above and below their grade levels for reading ideas.  The most important thing is to choose “just right” books that are interesting to you!

     In the sidebar, you can also find links to other great reading Web sites including the Larchmont and Mamaroneck public libraries and the Web site for New York State's Summer Reading Program.   I will also be updating my pages from last summer with new lists of books to read to young children and "I Can Read It Myself" titles, as well as suggestions for first, second, third, fourth and fifth grade readers.  So check back soon!
